Vitamins and minerals are necessary for fish health and growth. Vitamins are organic molecules that are important for development and immune system function, synthesized by plants or through manufacturing. Minerals are inorganic elements. These minerals are necessary for fish to synthesize its own body composition (bone), vitamins and cell structure. Some minerals are also involved in osmotic adjustment.
